Greetings to one and all.

Just to let everyone know that we have made some changes to our Bingo session. Top prize is $500.00. See the complete rules at the post.

Notice: This newsletter will be our last paper letter, going forward you can continue to be kept up to date and informed of what’s happening by visiting our web page at www.vfw-6587.org. We will still keep hard copies of the monthly events page at the Post Home for those that prefer a hard copy of upcoming events, so be on the lookout for them.

Before I close, I would like to thank everyone for their support and help. It truly helps us be more of a club and family.

God Bless and Thank You ALL – Yours in comradeship

COOTIES CORNER
Greetings Cooties:
This newsletter is covering the months of October-December 2016. The Post has experienced a funding problem with printing and mailing the newsletter. Thus the Post will be using the post website to communicate our calendar of upcoming events and other important news and information. This agenda will not only be a cost reduction, but in my opinion will be a very good way to keep our membership informed.

For those members that do not have internet access, those of us that do will keep those members posted with a hard copy. This is how the Pup Tent had adjusted to our record keeping for blood donors.

I do think this process will be an easy transition.

Please be reminded that our monthly Scratch continues to be on the 4th Thursday of the month and our routine hospital visitation at the Veterans Home in Hastings will continue on the 1st Wednesday of the month. We will also have Minneapolis Veteran's Home visit on November 23, 2016 and March 22, 2017.

Remember Cooties: Let’s continue to “keep them smiling in beds of white”.
